The Application for Telephone Service (ATS) forms are available FREE OF CHARGE from the nearest DIGITEL Customer Center in your area. Fill out the form and submit it to the Customer Service Officer or through your representative together with the required documents. Your application will then be processed on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis subject to the availability of facilities in your area.
Together with a completed DIGITEL ATS form, please submit the following:
- Location sketch of the area where the telephone line will be installed
- Any valid identification such as passport, driver’s license, company ID
- For residential applicants: electricity bill
- For business applicants: business permit and electricity bill
Business subscribers who will not be able to submit their business permit shall have the same credit level as residential subscribers until they submit the requested document.
Your choice of Connect 5 and Voice Mail features must also be indicated in the ATS form. For more information on these features, please refer to the Phone Features Section of this telephone directory.
Initial charges are composed of Installation Charge, Service Activation Fee, Advance Monthly Fees, Telephone Lease Cost and City Electrician Inspector Fee (CEIF). All fees are subject to 10% VAT except for the CEIF. Activation fees for Connect 5 and Voice Mail Features will also be included in your billing statement if you applied for these services.
The above initial charges are included in your first billing statement, which you must settle on or before the due date as indicated in your Statement of Account. You may pay your bill personally or through an authorized representative in any of the following: DIGITEL Business Centers, CIS Bayad Centers or On-line branches of accredited banks.
Upon installation, the following services are automatically available: emergency numbers, local calls, Home Country Direct, Operator 109, NDD and incoming long distance calls. However, Operator 108 and IDD services will only be activated upon request and after payment of the initial charges for postpaid subscribers.
Existing regulations of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) prohibit the use and connection of unapproved communication equipment to DIGITEL’s Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). Any non-DIGITEL equipment, whether for voice or data should be type approved by DIGITEL.
Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) such as cordless telephone sets, fax machines, modems, answering machines, Key Telephone Systems (KTS), Private Automatic Branch Exchange (PABX) and other types if equipment may be used within DIGITEL PSTN provided they are in the list of type-approved CPEs released by the NTC. The list is available at the local DIGITEL Customer Center.
DIGITEL may remove any unauthorized extension or installation, disconnect lines, and refuse provision of a telephone service within the prescribed guidelines of NTC.
To apply for an extension phone, simply visit the nearest DIGITEL Customer Center and fill out an application form. You have the option of using your own telephone unit provided it has been type-approved by DIGITEL.
To transfer your telephone to another address, simply file a request at the nearest DIGITEL Customer Center. Your telephone may be transferred to another address within DIGITEL’s service area.
To request for a change of telephone number, file a request at the nearest DIGITEL Customer Center and pay the One-Time-Charge (OTC). This request is subject to the availability of telephone numbers
